Where else was I to have learned how to make money by flipping furniture for a profit? As a DIY Pinterest creator!
I also learned that Pinterest is a search engine (NOT a social media) where users can find inspiration and solutions to their problems.

The best survey sites for making fast and easy money are Survey Junkie due to their speed, ease of use, and money-back guarantee. I like it because it is useful for an additional $20 to $50 a month.
But the money you'll make from taking surveys at online sites like Survey Junkie is not nearly as much as the money you can make with Pinterest!
If your imagination leads you in a different direction, you can still make money using Pinterest.

Many people plan to start a money-making blog, and there are other ways of making money without a blog.
Regardless, you don't need any previous experience to join.
I, myself, started with NO experience and eventually made over $5,000 per month at my rate within the first year (I will later note that I struggled for several months before making my first $1,000!).
And don't you forget, I'm not unique in any way!

How I Make Money on Pinterest by BlogJust like you, I figured I'd be doing the regular 9-5 job for as long as I still have a paycheck!
I learned how bloggers were making extra money or even earning a full-time income from Pinterest, which led me to try this myself.
I am sharing my experience about making a lot of money on Pinterest, and all for free.
I'm happy that I took the leap of faith and tried the idea of starting a blog because it helped me to earn a full-time income from home and leave my cubicle life behind for good. I can now live the life I always wanted and enjoy the time I spend with family and friends — making happy memories.
To be completely transparent, it took several months before my first $1,000 was received.
I am disclosing this to you because I want you to believe this is a legitimate business opportunity. It will require strong commitment and hard work, but you will have endless possibilities!
I am very excited about this opportunity and would like to get straight into it.
I like keeping it real — I have to admit that I'm NOT an expert, but I can give you helpful tips and share my knowledge to avoid making mistakes as a brand-new blogger.
I will help you start a blog, design sites, and expand your Pinterest fan base.
Start a Blog for Fun.
You may be thinking of starting a free blog on WordPress or Blogger, but DO NOT do so.
To succeed in a free blog, it will not be easy to make money because people will not take you seriously.
Write Helpful and Appropriate Material.
Now that you have begun a blog write 5-10 blog posts that address your readers' widespread concerns; this will likely solve their problems.
Before drafting a document, it's necessary first to understand who your target audience would be.
I suggest selecting a topic you enjoy exploring.
Don't pick a subject only because it will bring in money. Sure, it will come together after a while, but can you keep creating something you do not enjoy?
The last thing you'll want to do is be a chore to blog.
I would not advise you to abandon your job and follow your passions without any financial backing. However, what would you do with your life if you could do whatever you wanted? I know it is hard to respond, so I have included a free personality test to help you figure it out.
Skills: What do you specialize in? What is it that you get compliments on most?
What are people looking for in Google and Pinterest the most, and why? I suggest trying SEMrush to get some details. Billions of people want to know how they can solve their issues.
The reader wants your assistance in everything. Most are here to hear about how to solve problems. When anyone sees your website, they would think:
'What's in it for me?'
Your ideal location must include a great passion, strong skills, and a vast market demand.
It is easy to say than do, but if you put the requisite time and effort in, you will be rewarded!
You may not have to become an expert in your field to qualify for a skill correctly. Accompanying your learning path are some mistakes you've made and have learned from. Lessons add a lot of value while your readers are looking for it online (it helps your SEO).
Sign up for a Pinterest Business Account
Start a Pinterest account and take the first steps toward monetization by entering the company Pinterest network. It is 100% free to sign up for and use.
Once that is finished, please follow the instructions given here to upload your website. Trust me, and it's dirtproof. Their online guidance is simple to follow and includes comprehensive instructions.
It is always imperative to insert appropriate keywords when uploading a profile. It will help us keep finding you.
Develop Pinterest boards and pins
We will now allow you to add boards and pins to your Pinterest account. I suggest using Canva to create great templates for your blog posts. The service is available without cost and easy to use.
Do the same as your bio description for step #3 to ensure that your boards and pin descriptions are appropriate. By the way, I'm not immediately adding the keyword your misspelling. I made a blunder in the past by using so many keywords in my pins. It is no wonder that no one has visited my site since I first began. Without any sales on my blog, it would be impossible for me to make money on Pinterest, so don't be like me!
Join Groups and Build Differential Personal Pin-Boards Every Month
As you read other bloggers' posts describing their extraordinary Pinterest traffic increase and additional income from Pinterest, they will often illustrate the value of joining Pinterest community boards. You'll hear:
I don't think the posts have been revised since they changed their site.
Although I am still a fan of joining related community boards, I've learned that Pinterest concentrates on personal boards. Pinterest prefers small groups of high-quality contributors (relevant to your niche) with fewer total contributors.
With that in mind, concentrate on new discussions and building low-contributor high-quality community forums.
To minimize the amount of clutter on new community boards, some students prefer to use Tailwind Communities. It allows you to share your pins on each community page, where members can comment and tag each other. One of my most valued features is scheduling my notes on both communities and my boards. With Tailwind, I increased my traffic from 500 to over 1,500 hits per day, reaching a maximum of 4,000 hits per day.
How to make money with a blog on Pinterest
It is the moment for which you have been waiting!

Wrote 5-10 epic blog posts about your niche inspiring and solving a problem.
Signed up for a business account on Pinterest and checked your domain.
Eye-catching pins with clickable photos and titles have been developed.
At least ten community boards were joined, and ten personal committees relevant to your niche were established.
The bio profile, boards, and pins have been optimized by sprinkling important keywords throughout.
After getting your blog and Pinterest account set up, here are two ways you can begin making money on Pinterest!
Push Your Blog Traffic
Pinterest traffic is truly the BFF of a new blogger! I recommend focusing your efforts on Pinterest when you have a new blog or website! When your website is unique, it's certainly a lot easier and quicker to get Pinterest traffic than Google.
When Pinterest is used correctly and regularly, you can bring a lot of traffic to your blog and make money
through display ads.
You need to write blog posts that your readers find helpful!
You can theoretically make between $6 and $20 per 1,000 page views per day, depending on how many ads you put in and which ad network you are with.
How to make money with AdSense on Pinterest
Yeah, with Pinterest, you can make money by showing advertisements on your Google AdSense blog.
I suggest submitting to Google AdSense when you're a brand-new blogger because they don't need you to have a minimum number of page views.
However, as they pay you so little, they are not the best way to make cash. With 10,000 to 40,000 monthly views, I used to be with Google AdSense and made around $50 to $200 per month.
Don't get me wrong, as a new blogger, I was always content (I am still new and learning). But somewhere, we all have to start!
Aside from AdSense, when you're a new blogger, there are other ad networks you can apply to:
For Media.net
My Financials (great for bloggers in the personal finance and money niche)
Ads with Mediavine display:
After reaching 25,000 monthly sessions back in July, I moved from Google AdSense to Mediavine. Making a move takes 3-4 weeks.
With at least 25,000 monthly sessions (~$30,000 page views), Mediavine allows the blog to be at least 3-4 months old.
A few months after July, as I increased my Pinterest traffic to my blog, I began earning a passive online income of at least USD 1,000+ per month by showing advertisements like the one you see here...
When I moved from Google AdSense to Mediavine, I certainly saw a Massive boost in ad earnings!
Using the AdSense form from Pinterest and Google
I used to make $5 to $10 per day on average from Pinterest's ~1,800 daily page views using Google AdSense.
Using advertising, how I make money with Mediavine
On August 17, I officially became a member of Mediavine. I made $348.39 in 9 days (August 17 to August 25), as you can see below!
I'd make ~$25 daily with Mediavine in a day with 1,800 page views. When I hit 4,000 daily page views, there was also one time I made $71!
My earnings increased 300 percent because I was able to use Pinterest to push traffic to my blog!
How to attract traffic to blog from Pinterest
To be frank, since I spent my time studying how Pinterest works, I was able to increase my traffic and earn cash on Pinterest.
I suggest checking out this Pinterest eBook if you're a beginner and looking for an affordable alternative.
I went from 0 to eighteen to forty thousand monthly page views (with this month at over 70,000 page views) after two to three months of following EXACTLY anything from her e-course (YES, it will take some time)!
I began to use Pinterest as a source of traffic. I was able to apply Mediavine and raise my ad revenue by over 300 percent after implementing these Pinterest strategies! I went from making USD6 per day to USD25 per day (Google AdSense) (Mediavine).
That's $180 per month vs. USD750 per month when reported in months (Mediavine).
With that said, you can tell me if that small investment is worth investing in a Pinterest resource!
PRICELESS TIP: Do not fear investing in the right education for blogging. There's no such thing as 100 percent returns guaranteed (nothing in life is guaranteed). But think about how much money you're spending on concerts, friendships, and Starbucks Lattes every day. What's worth $35 to you? It is what I have said many times, and I will repeat it. The most significant investment you can ever make is investing in yourself!
How to make money with Affiliate Links on Pinterest
On top of making money with AdSense or Mediavine, using affiliate links, you can also make money on Pinterest. It is also known as the technique of affiliate marketing. It can make a big difference to your earning potential to learn how to use affiliate marketing on Pinterest to make money!
There are two ways, with and without a blog, to do so.
I'm going to talk about how to do this using the blogging process first. Again, because it has performed well for me, this is my favorite form.
What is affiliate marketing, first of all? And how do you make cash with affiliate ads on Pinterest?
If you're new to this idea, affiliate marketing only recommends items you enjoy and think would bring value to your audience.
You receive a small commission without any added cost to the customer after they purchase your affiliate connection. In other words, by delivering value and solving someone's dilemma with a product or service, you get rewarded.
First, by driving traffic to your blog posts with affiliate links, let's explore how to make money on Pinterest.
This first technique is my favorite way of making money because, for one thing, by attracting traffic, you benefit from display advertising. Secondly, when you provide a solution to your readers' concerns, you earn from future affiliate sales.
For instance, a pin such as this one can be generated and promoted here that teaches readers how to save money on food that includes affiliate links in the blog post.
TIP: Use Canva to make pretty pins that will drive massive traffic with affiliate links to your blog post. I use the free edition, and for beginners, it's more than enough.
I earned over $1,000 from Pinterest using affiliate marketing. At the same time, I was still a novice, so here I show you examples of two separate affiliate networks I'm still with at the moment. I'm earning money from several other affiliate services, but I just show these two to help beginners like you see the possibilities for illustration purposes!
You should start applying to affiliate networks such as Awing and Flex Offers once you have your blog with 5 to 10 entries (shown above).
You will start applying to a wide variety of companies after you are admitted into affiliate networks and advertise their goods and services on your blog. Again, just encourage stuff that you believe in and can benefit your audience!
How to Make Money without a Blog on Pinterest
So far, I've spoken about how you can make money with a blog on Pinterest.
When you're not interested in starting a blog, it's cool. Without a blog, you can still learn how to make money on Pinterest!
Here are three ways for this to be done!
How to use Pinterest Affiliate Links without a Blog
You can also make money by entering the affiliate connection directly into your Pinterest pin, aside from making money on Pinterest by driving traffic to your blog with affiliate links. This affiliate connection will take users of Pinterest directly to the item or service.
So, yes, on Pinterest without a blog, you can still make money with affiliate marketing. I always suggest starting one, though, because a blog provides you with so much more versatility!
Also, beware of this strategy since some businesses, such as Amazon, do not allow you to use direct affiliate links on Pinterest pins.
So, study this before you intend to add any affiliate links to your pins that directly lead users to the product's landing page.
I don't use this approach personally because I love talking about the product on my blog, where readers can get more detail.
I still believe that the blog strategy converts (that's just my personal opinion) faster, but things work differently for different people.
I recommend that you test out what works for you best! When using Pinterest's direct affiliate marketing, be sure to use hashtags such as #affiliate or #affiliatelink in your pin description to reveal your affiliate relationship.
How to pin for money on Pinterest by being a Virtual Assistant
When I was studying Pinterest about making money, I found that a lot of individuals were asking questions like:
Will you get paid for a Pinterest pin?
How do I make money on Pinterest by pinning?
The response is that you Won't get paid for pinning on the site directly from Pinterest. You will still earn money by helping a business owner handle their Pinterest account, which could entail some pinning activity.
That said, apart from the concept of starting a blog and driving traffic using Pinterest or using Pinterest affiliate links, by being a Pinterest Virtual Assistant, you can also make money on Pinterest (VA).
How does that sound now? Get paid on Pinterest to become a VA and Pin!
There might not be time for many experienced bloggers and online influencers to set up and maintain their Pinterest accounts. It is where you come to their company to add value!
Pinterest is a compelling platform for bloggers and businesses that can drive traffic and generate revenue. If you're willing to learn the platform's ins and outs (or maybe you're a Pinterest expert already), becoming a VA is an excellent choice for Pinterest to make money!
Depending on their experience, Pinterest VAs can produce up to $50 per hour. Even with NO practice, learning how to master those abilities is never too late!
On Pinterest, advertise your goods to sell.
You can sell your goods and services on Pinterest, similar to starting an Etsy shop. Here are the following things you can sell on Pinterest that will help you make money:
- Groups
- Electronic books
- Printable
- Mobiliary
- Items for home decor
- Apparel and Accessories
The opportunities are infinite! By connecting your pins back to your website, you can also market your Pinterest consulting services.
As described above, with Canva, you can also build pins and use Pinterest affiliate marketing to promote other people's goods and services that will help your target audience.
